Loaves & Fishes Applesauce

By Anna Pump

10 to 12 apples, cubed (a mix of Cortland, which stays in chunks, and McIntosh, which breaks down)
½ cup water

Peel and core apples, put in a heavy sauce pan.

Add ½ cup water.

Put a tight-fitting lid on pan and place it on the stove at very low heat.

Stir occasionally for 1 ½ to 2 hours.
