Academics at Blair Academy are not only top notch, but they are unique. In addition to the typical course offerings and Advanced Placement options, Blair students often find their true passion in one of the many exciting Elective courses offered at Blair. The selection includes: Asian Studies, Biotechnology, Marine Science, Aeronautical Engineering, 20th Century Leadership, and Graphic Design. Additionally, every senior must complete a public speaking course, culminating in a public speaking contest.

Beyond the multitude of arts, sports, extracurricular activities, and community service opportunities offered at Blair, many students can grow and develop alongside their peers within the boarding environment. Group activities that promote bonding and socializing, as well as consistencies like the nightly dinner, give the Blair boarding community a sense of togetherness and unity.
