Inside Oratory Prep:
Oratory Prep offers an expanded core curriculum to its students, along with a number of electives. Emphasis is on a strong foundation in English and math skills. The curriculum has been designed with such flexibility that students are given almost individualized courses of study. One result of this process is that 45 percent or more of the students are on the Honor Roll during each quarter of the school year.

The numerous sports activities, combined with the small size of the school, allow any student who has the desire to join a team. More than 80 percent of the students are engaged in some type of sports activity. The interscholastic sports are baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, track, bowling, lacrosse, and golf. The intramurals are volleyball, football, basketball, and tennis. The campus has a gymnasium, soccer and baseball fields, and three tennis courts.

The School facilities are housed in two buildings. Newman Hall, which houses the priests' residence, also contains the student chapel, a classroom, a senior lounge, campus ministry, the admissions office, the alumni office, and the conference room, which is used for faculty meetings and small classes. The John Bain Academic Building contains twelve classrooms, a library, and science labs as well as administrative offices, the Guidance Office, the nurse's office, the athletics director's office, a computer lab, and an art room.
